Acceptance of terms
These terms of service took effect on February 13, 2026. By visiting hags.dev or using the den, you agree to be bound by this agreement and the accompanying privacy policy.
The services are offered for personal, non-commercial use only unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.
Eligibility & account
You must be at least 13 years old to use hags.dev. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and approved these terms on your behalf.
A Google account powers each session. Keep your credentials secure and do not share your device with others while signed in, especially when editing preferences.
Account security
We rely on Firebase Authentication and the `__session` cookie to keep your session alive. You are responsible for logging out when finished and for any activity that occurs while your account is authenticated.
Promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized activity or a compromised account by emailing support@hags.dev.
Permitted use
Attachments, posts, or other uploads must comply with the community spirit. Do not abuse the presence wall, spam other visitors, or attempt to reverse-engineer protected APIs.
You may not interfere with Firebase, Next.js, or Hosting infrastructure, nor harvest data about other users beyond the public elements of the den.
Intellectual property
All content, graphics, and code delivered by hags.dev remain the property of the developer unless otherwise noted. You may not republish, redistribute, or clone the den without explicit permission.
You retain ownership of the preferences and presence updates you submit, but you grant hags.dev a worldwide, royalty-free license to display them within the den while your account is active.
Privacy and data
Your privacy is governed by the Privacy Policy referenced above. We process data only as described there and do not share it with advertisers.
Certain features depend on Firebase, so you agree to abide by Firebase policies whenever you use those pieces of the experience.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
hags.dev is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the site will always be available, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use or inability to use the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access without notice for violations of these terms, for abuse, or if the service needs maintenance. You may delete your preferences at any time from the den, which effectively deactivates your personalized experience.
After termination, we may retain copies of your data for a limited time for legal or security reasons before purging it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms periodically. Substantive updates will be reflected here with a new effective date, and we will post a notice inside the den when possible.
Continued use after such changes means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where hags.dev is hosted. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder will still apply.
